Huntington hires strategic planning exec - Business First of Louisville:

The Columbus-based bank this week said Mark Thompson will start April 20 as executive vice presidentf and director of strategy and businesdssegment performance. Thompson arrives at Huntingtonfrom , the U.S. arm of the where Huntington CEO Stephen Steinour spent 15 yeara before leavingin 2007. Most recently, Thompsobn served as executive vice presidenr and deputy chief financial office rof , which Royal Bank of Scotland acquirede in the fall of 2007. A 25-year banking industry he spent more than eight yearx at Citizens including a stint as finance chief for one of its largestt regions and its retail and businessbankinf segment. He also oversaw acquisition projects.
